This particular sash is for you if you have grille in the airspace ( that's a grille between the 2 panes only)
We offer a replacement sash that fits into the Kolbe Classic Casementframe. While these sash are similar they are not the exact same esthetically. It is important that you view all illustrations provided showing The old next to the new replacement, view our video section, as well as view all pertinent information below.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW:
- Replacement sash come complete Wood or Heavy .050 extruded aluminum clad exterior /interior pine/glass/and weather strip on top and two sides. (see illustration above). NOTE: Color options are painted to AAMA 2605 performance requirements
- Does not come with hardware, use existing hardware that must be moved to new sash. You will have to measure, mark, and move hardware from existing to new sash
- You will choose your standard size based on the sash size shown above.
- Choose from three different glass options.
- Add grilles between the glass if you wish.
- Option of interior face to be pre primed for painting or raw pine for staining.
- Option for tempered safety glass
- Eight clad colors offered. Custom colors offered for an upcharge on 20 or more sash
- Sash come with weather strip on head and two sides, It is no longer across bottom so that any moisture can weep out.
YOU NEED TO KNOW!
- While these are manufactured to fit into the Kolbe Classic casment openings, they are not an exact match. (Please see comparison illustration above)

When choosing sash size above it shows from left to right the origional Kolbe "call out" size, then the visible glass size is shown, and finally and most important the exterior sash size which is the measurement you will compare with and choose size for ordering. This is done so the consumer can compare and choose the correct size.
- When choosing sash size above it has the original Kolbe exterior sash and glass sizes for ordering purpose. this is done so consumer can choose the correct size. as replacement sash are manufacture differently the new replacement sash will have slightly different sizing, nothing to be alarmed about.
- These are manufactured to order and non-returnable. Its the consummers responsibility to make sure they order correct size. compare your exterior measurements,these replacement sash will be manufactured to the same exterior sash size as listed online.
- We strongly suggest you order new adjustable hinge and track kits for each sash as it makes it easier for final adjustments.
- Site lines on glass are not exact. If you have one mulled tight to another you may want to consider changing all that are tight mulled (see illustration above showing that. new replacement sash will have about .250'' of more visible glass). Horizontal grille bars in the air space will not align
- We suggest if not handy that you hire a professional to install. Please go to our video section to see sash installation. Hardware location is critical.
- If you have a wood removable grille it will not fit into new replacement sash.
- These sash will be made to the exterior sash size as listed above. If you order a custom size they will be manufactured to the exterior sash size you provide. All sash demension tolerances = +/- .125'' .See cad drawings provided in the illistrations above
